Robert Trickey

June 17, 1965 – 31 May 2026, Robert (Bob) D. Trickey, 60 of Ogden Utah passed away suddenly in Idaho Falls Idaho! Bob was born on 17 June 1965 in Missoula County, Montana to Robert L Trickey (D)and Beverly J Lee (D). Bob was raised by his loving parents Daniel Robert McLinden and Gay Susan McLinden in Noxon Montana. He joined the United States Air Force June 1983 and retired as a Master Sergeant in June 2009, he spent over 40 years serving his country with the Air Force, 26 years in uniform, 4 years as an Air Force Contractor and 11 years as an Air Force Civilian. Bob loved the Air Force and enjoyed working with the young troops to help start their military careers.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, NASCAR, basketball, and home improvement projects but most of all he enjoyed making memories with his family and friends.
Bob was a very patient and loving man; he knew when to provide wisdom and when to listen and when humor was needed. He was the master of dad jokes and spot on humor, so much so that in the Air Force they called him Trixster! He touched so many lives in a positive and profound way! Bob had a large, blended family and he loved each and everyone of them for who they are not why or how they were family.

He met his wife Wendy at Hill Air Force Base, Utah in 2008 and they were married in 2012. Bob & Wendy loved hosting and organizing large gatherings, barbecues and trips with their family and extended Air Force Family. They shared many adventures together both in the United States and United Kingdom/Europe and had plans for many more.
He was proceeded in death by his natural parents Robert L Trickey and Beverly J Lee, Nicholas M Trochman (nephew) multiple grandparents and his four-legged best friend Ozzy.

He is survived by his Wife Wendy Trickey, six children, Felica Trickey, Karen (Ford) Wegner, Cole Mitchell, Lane (Salliie) Mitchell, Miranda Mitchell, Jo Drake-Mitchell. Eight grandchildren, Trayson, Kolsen, Karter, Kingston, Zayden, Skyler, LJ, and Ford. His parents Daniel Robert McLinden and Gay Susan McLinden, six siblings, Laura (Eddie) Gust, Robert (Marla) Cowan, Annette (Kert) Gordon, Toni Trickey, Wanda (Randy) Trochman, Jim (Amy) Trickey and many cousins, nieces and nephews and his cat-dog Loki.

A viewing will be held Monday June 8th, 2026, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM with Military Honors at 4:00 PM at Myers Mortuary at 845 Washington Blvd, Ogden Utah.
