Robert Bernard Vorwaller Obituary (1940 - 2007)

Robert Bernard Vorwaller NORTH OGDEN - Robert Bernard Vorwaller, 67, of North Ogden, died December 29, 2007. Robert was born July 15, 1940 in Logan, Utah the son of Robert Bernard Ostercamp and Mildred Sadie Ames. He married Evelyn Kay Rynes in Las Vegas, NV, Aug. 14, 1970. Bob served in the Navy, aboard the U.S.S. Apache, during the Vietnam War. He retired from Pacific Chromalox in 2005 to help run the family business. "Bob the Builder" could fix anything and did so at Sparetime Family Fun Center in Roy. He loved the ocean and collecting lighthouses; fixing and working with computers; reading, camping, fishing and spending weekends at his cabin " The Dog House"; but most of all spending time with his kids and grandkids. He was a member of the LDS Church. Bob is survived by his wife Evelyn; children Michael (Marsha) Alvord, Roy, Richard Alvord, Ogden, Ronald (Kristen) Vorwaller, Woods Cross, Linette (Brian) Schaffer, Vancouver, WA, Monty (Kimberly) Vorwaller, No. Ogden; 11 grandchildren Chris, Bradley, Ryan, Alex, Rachel, Rebecca, Bridger, Jacob, McKenzie, Justin and Savannah; two great-grandchildren Shelly and Hailey and a brother Richard Vorwaller, Layton and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Christopher Alvord.
