Alpine, WY- Robert Allen Walker, 65, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2011.
Robert was born in Ogden, Utah on September 18, 1945 a son of Raymond Allen and Jean Clifford Walker.
He grew up in Clearfield and graduated with the 1st Class from Clearfield High School in 1963.
Robert was a member of the LDS Church and earned his Eagle Scout.
He married Roberta Kite and together they had three children, they later divorced. He married Nancy Goodwin, and later they divorced.
Robert worked as an aircraft mechanic supervisor at Hill Air Force Base after retiring moved to Alpine, WY.
It was said that he had a Ph-D in goose hunting, he earned his nick name "Gooseman". He was a member of Ducks Unlimited. He loved going to major league baseball games.
Robert loved to travel he visited every county in the Continental US and visited many countries outside of the US. He was a man of service and loved to give his time to help anyone.
Surviving are his children: Curt R (Kim) Walker, Clearfield, UT; Cory (Kim) Walker, Plymouth, UT; Kellie Ann (Tavish) Snow, Roy, UT; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three siblings: Lynn Anderson, Taylorsville, UT; Richard J. Walker, Syracuse, UT; and Sharon Zundel, Willard, UT; three step siblings: Lynn Zundel, Willard, UT; Debbie Smith and Lori Braegger, Willard, UT. Also survived by his beloved dog Bogart and many good friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, David and stepfather, Monte Zundel.
Graveside services will be on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Willard Cemetery.
