Robert Todd “Bob” Wallis
April 6, 1951 – September 29, 2026
Robert Todd “Bob” Wallis passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 75.
Bob was born on April 6, 1951, to Todd and Margaret Wallis. He grew up alongside his siblings, Jim, Liz, and Kathy, and went on to build a life defined by hard work, service, and, above all else, love for his family.
On April 26, 1975, Bob married the love of his life, Denise Ball. In April 1997, Bob and Denise were sealed together in the temple. Throughout their more than 51 years of marriage, Bob was happiest with Denise by his side. He valued the life they shared and the family they built together above everything else. Their marriage, family, and the many years of memories they created together were at the heart of Bob’s life.
Bob and Denise were blessed with four children, and his family continued to grow with fourteen grandchildren, who brought him endless joy.
Of all the roles Bob had throughout his life, being a grandpa was one he especially treasured. He had an enormous place in his heart for his grandchildren and loved spending time with them, teasing them, playing with them, and making them laugh. His grandchildren brought him tremendous happiness, and each of them knew how deeply their grandpa loved them.
Bob earned an associate degree in manufacturing engineering and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He later worked at Defense Depot Ogden and Hill Air Force Base before retiring on January 2, 2016.
Hard work was simply part of who Bob was. Throughout his life, he often worked multiple jobs to make sure his family was taken care of and had everything they needed. He didn’t seek recognition for it; taking care of the people he loved was reason enough. Bob approached life with a practical and logical mind. He understood that the things worth having required hard work, responsibility, and sacrifice, and he lived those values every day.
Bob had an incredible ability to build, repair, and figure things out. Friends, family, and neighbors knew that if something needed fixing, Bob was the person to call. He was always willing to lend his time, his hands, and his knowledge to help someone else. His ability to serve others wasn’t limited to small projects. Bob built his family’s home and their cabin, creating places that would become the setting for countless family memories.
The cabin held a particularly special place in Bob’s heart. He loved spending time there with his family and enjoying what he had worked so hard to build. He also loved working on and rebuilding his 1968 Camaro, a project that reflected his patience, skill, and love of working with his hands.
Bob’s life was not measured by titles or possessions, but by what he built and who he built it for. He built a home. He built a cabin. He rebuilt a Camaro. He fixed countless things for countless people. But most importantly, he built a family and a life centered around the people he loved.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Denise; his children, Todd (Stephanie), Chris (Karen), Chase (Brittani), and Laura (Jamie); his grandchildren, Austin, Memphis, Camron, Paisley, Miles, Jordyn, Jackson, Hunter, Kaden, Taycen, Harper, Sadie, Violet, and Remington; his brother, Jim (Marie); and his sister, Liz (Rex).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Todd and Margaret Wallis, and his sister, Kathy.
Bob will be deeply missed as a husband, father, grandfather, brother, neighbor, and friend. His family will remember his teasing and laughter, his willingness to help, his strong and capable hands, his tireless work ethic, and the sacrifices he made for them throughout his life.
Most of all, they will remember how completely he loved them.
Our family would like to express our deepest gratitude to the many family members, friends, neighbors, and healthcare professionals who cared for and supported Bob throughout the difficult times. Your kindness, compassion, visits, helping hands, prayers, and countless acts of love meant more to Bob and our family than we can ever fully express.
We are especially grateful for those who stood beside Bob and our family through the hardest days, offering comfort, friendship, and support when it was needed most. We feel incredibly blessed by the love that surrounded him.
Thank you for loving Bob, for caring for him, and for being part of his life. Your kindness will always be remembered and deeply appreciated.
With love and gratitude,
The Wallis Family
