Roderick Levelle "Boo Boo" Hood Obituary (1991 - 2017)

Roderick Levelle Hood "Boo Boo" On December 18, 2017 our beloved son, father, brother, nephew, grandson, and uncle was called home to his heavenly father. Roderick Lavelle Hood was born January 31, 1991 to Paul and Lisa Bell in Cleveland, Mississippi. From there he moved to Memphis, Tennessee for a short while before moving to Ogden, Utah. He attended Ben Lomond High School. Roderick had a smile that would light the darkest room and lift anyone's spirits. He would go out of his way to help anybody who needed it. Roderick enjoyed quality time with family, friends and being a devoted father. His hobbies also included movie nights on the weekends with his mother, Christine was his favorite movie, being a big brother to his baby sister Kamrie Bell, who he was extremely protective of and loved with everything he had. Another one of Roderick's enjoyments was time spent with his brother Paul Deshawn Bell, where they would kick it how ever they wanted and lived life to the fullest, Roderick loved his brother deeply. He loved cars inside and out, repairing and detailing them. His passion for cars came from his father. They would spend days and hours under the hood of any car or truck until the project was fixed and completed, this became their father and son past time. Roderick was very intrigued with car stereos, as a child he spent hours with his uncle Brandunn who taught him how to install speakers, amps and decks, that became a love of his and another way he could help people. Needless to say, these were things he loved and enjoyed but nothing compares to the joy he had with his two lovely daughters, Denali and Faith Hood, who he leaves behind unwillingly. Roderick transitioned from a boy to a man once he created life. Being a father changed him and made him a better person all around. Before his two daughters, Roderick was already a father figure to his step-son Benny, who loves him also. Roderick left his trade mark many places where he worked, Arby's and Pharmachem Laboratory. He started as a temp to hire at Pharmachem Laboratory then was hired on permanent as a forklift operator. WE WILL MISS YOU BOO BOO!!! Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 27th at Second Baptist Church, 227 27th St., Ogden where friends may call prior from 1 to 1:50 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Myers Ogden Mortuary.
