Rodney (Rod) Bruce Peterson Obituary (1964 - 2011)

Rodney "Rod" Bruce Peterson No. Ogden - Rodney "Rod" Bruce Peterson, passed away on July 18, 2011. He was born on May 2, 1964 to Clyde Leland Peterson and Arlene Marshall Peterson. Rod was an excellent mechanic and could "Petersonize" anything and bring it back to new. He enjoyed helping his family, friends and neighbors when needed. He loved ATV's, motorcycles and the outdoors. Rod enjoyed the company of family and friends and his 3 cats. He was employed as a welder at Chromalox for 23 years. Rod is survived by 2 brothers, Rick (Lisa) Peterson, Randy (Theresa) Peterson; and 1 sister, Robbyn (Ken) Folkman; as well as 5 nieces and 3 nephews. . He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Arlene Peterson; sister, Rona Statler Gabel, and nephew, Britton M. Folkman. Randy, thanks for being there for our brother, your friendship meant so much to him and held a very special place in his heart. Our family would like to thank Rod's wonderful neighbors, especially the Roberts family, Potokar's family and his good friend Steve Noriega. Rod, we will miss you and your great sense of humor, you made us all smile. We love you very much. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at the Ogden City Cemetery, 20th and Madison Ave., Ogden, Utah. Friends and family may call from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the service at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah.
