Rogelio Garcia

Rogelio Alonzo Garcia, a loving, dedicated, adventurous, and funny man, was born on November 19, 1992, in Payson, Utah, and left this world on June 8, 2023.
Rogelio, also known as Rogel, RoJo, or simply Jo, was an individual who effortlessly brought joy, laughter, and a sense of wonder to the lives of those around him. Embracing his Mexican and Navajo heritage, he was a proud member of the Navajo Tribe and found solace in the teachings of Navajo Traditional Beliefs. As the Navajo saying goes, "In beauty I walk. With beauty before me, I walk. With beauty behind me, I walk. With beauty above me, I walk. With beauty all around me, I walk."
Rogelio was a master of many trades, recently working as an HVAC installer, where he took great pride in each job. He enjoyed working with his hands and was well-respected for his dedication and attention to detail.
In his free time, Rogelio loved mountain biking, working on his cars, and watching movies. His favorite films included The Godfather, Django Unchained, and The Hateful Eight. His adventurous spirit and contagious laughter will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Family and friends meant the world to Rogelio.
He is survived by his mother LaVonna Garcia, father Jose Garcia, siblings Angelica, Veronica, Javier, and Sergio Garcia, and nephew Aiden Skeet.
He loved with an unwavering loyalty, and to him, his friends were his extended family.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at 12:00 pm MDT at Myers Mortuary - Roy (5865 S. 1900 W., Roy, Utah, 84067), followed by a memorial service at 1:00 pm MDT at the same location.
