Rosealene "RaNae" Elwood

Rosealene "RaNae" Elwood passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017. She was born April 10, 1935 to Golden and Lovine Elizabeth Taylor in Santaquin, Utah.

RaNae grew up in Sanatquin, Utah and resided in Roy, Utah. RaNae married Steve D. Elwood on January 10, 1953. Together they have three children, two sons, and one daughter. They were married 59 years, before Steve passed away.

RaNae was a great cook and loved to talk and visit. The family would like to thank Lotus Park for their care and kindness for their mother. She had resided at Lotus Park for the past four years.

RaNae is survived by her three children; sons, Norris Elwood, and Jay (Sally) Elwood; daughter, Becky (Michael) Merrill. Also surviving are her two sisters; Gertrude Reilly, and Elizabeth Yates, and many nieces and nephews. RaNae has 8 grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Roy City Cemetery, 5200 South 2300 West, Roy, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to services at 10:00-10:30 AM, at Myers Mortuary Roy, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah.
