Rozalys Jensen Denaughel Obituary (1937 - 2010)

Rozalys Jensen DeNaughel 1937 - 2010 Roy, Utah - Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 after a valiant and enduring time with Alzheimer's. She was born July 2, 1937 in Pocatello, Idaho, one of five children to John Ferril and Doris Daich Holmes Jensen. She was raised in Pocatello and graduated from Pocatello High School. She married Kyle Wilford DeNaughel on December 21, 1962 and their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls temple. They lived in Pocatello until Kyle graduated from Idaho State University. After briefly living in Clarkston, Washington, they moved to Roy, Utah where they raised their two sons. Rozalys was a member of the LDS Church and served faithfully in many callings. She loved chocolate, to read, to go to movies, and to travel with her husband, Kyle to many beautiful places together. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Kyle and her two sons: Jeff (Sheryl) of Salem; and Scott (Cathie) of Syracuse; and seven grandchildren: Amber (Jay), Darin, Olivia, Brooke, Sarah, Emily and Joshua. She is also survived by three brothers: Beryl (Jeani), Donald (Teddie Sue), and Ronald (Judy). She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister and brother-in-law (Dorinne and Clinton). Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary Chapel, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah 84067. A viewing will be held on Friday, February 26, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and prior to services on Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Roy City Cemetery.
