Rudolph Radnoff Obituary (1940 - 2016)

Rudolph "Rudy" Carl Radnoff passed away on December 26, 2016, after a battle with vascular dementia. He was born on October 28, 1940 to Nicholas and Alice Young Radnoff in Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from Southeastern High School. After graduation, he joined the US Air Force. He was first stationed at Wattisham, RAF Base in England, he was then transferred to Calais, France. On June 22, 1963, he married Jenifer Knock in Bildeston, England. Rudy and Jenny returned to America and eventually settled in Sugar Grove, Illinois. He worked for the FAA as an Air Traffic Controller and retired from the Department of Justice in 2001. He loved airplanes, golf, fishing, baseball, playing cards and board games and photography. A special thanks to A Step Forward Hospice for their loving care and to so many friends and neighbors who helped along the way. Rudy is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jenifer; daughters, Cori and Tanya; four grandchildren, Hannah Alise, Connor James, Shannon Delaney, and Brandon Carl; his puppy "JFK" Kennedy; siblings, Virginia, Nada, Mary Ann and Dennis. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Nicholas, Ronald, and Robert. Memorial Services will be held Monday, January 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 250 North Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah.
