Russell Blaine Ferrin

Our loving father and grandfather, Russell Ferrin, affectionately known as "Grampa Russell" returned to his Heavenly Father following a sudden heart attack.

He was born February 25, 1953 in Ogden, the son of H. Eldon and Betty Skinner Ferrin.

He graduated from Ben Lomond High School.

On March 15, 1974 he married Lesley Kay Alford in the Ogden L.D.S. Temple, they were later divorced.

He was a member of the L.D.S. Church and lived his life simply and honestly. He possessed a Christ-like love for his family, friends, and all with whom he came in contact. He especially enjoyed spending time with his best friend and son, Eric.

He loved his job as a truck driver for Post Paving & Asphalt.

Russell is survived by his children, Heidi Ferrin, Farmington; Randy Ferrin, Albuquerque, NM; Tonya Ferrin, Salt Lake City; Tiffany Ferrin, Layton; Eric Ferrin, Clinton and Ryan Ferrin, Clinton. He is also survived by one grandchild, Carson Petersen and stepmother, Elaine Ferrin; brothers and sisters, Dan (Rosemary) Ferrin, Mike (Carolyn) Ferrin, Judy (Larry) White, Rick (Nancy) Ferrin and Kathy (Steve) Sanders.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Johnny and a nephew, Clint Daniel Ferrin.

He was truly loved and will be greatly missed by his family who will strive to follow his example of unconditional love, charity and honesty.
