Ruth Andersen Cheney

PETERSBORO - Ruth Andersen Cheney, 94, passed away Monday, August 8, 2005 at her home in Petersboro, UT.

Ruth was born in Brigham City, UT on February 25, 1911 a daughter of Levi Severine and Millie Caroline Reeder Andersen.

She married Clayton Beebe Cheney on June 4, 1930 in the Logan Temple in Logan, UT, he died on November 30, 2000.

Ruth was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She played the violin, was a ballet dancer, singer, artist, mom and wife.

Ruth was determined to love those that came into her life with a sweet accepting unconditional love. She succeeded.

Surviving are her children, Richard Clayton (Flora May) Cheney; Delar Beebe (LaDawn) Cheney; Michael Andersen (Lana) Cheney; Leland Andersen (Cindy) Cheney; 22 grandchildren, brothers and sister, Wynn Severine Andersen, Lee Reeder Andersen, Roma Shurtleff.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Mildred Hall, Erma Parker, brother, Richard D. Andersen, son, Wayne Jack (JoAnn) Cheney.

Funeral services will be held on Friday August 12, 2005 at 12 Noon at the Old Mendon Ward Chapel, 20 North 100 West, Mendon, UT.
Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT and on Friday from 11:00 to 11:40 a.m. at the Church.

Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
