Ruthanne "Rusty" O'Brien Click here to listen to Funeral Recording Farr West - Our loving mother, grandmother and friend, Ruthanne "Rusty" O'Brien, passed away on July 15, 2015. She was born on March 5, 1942 in Los Angeles, CA to Albin and Ruth Caldwell Novak. She married Glenn O'Brien who preceded her in death. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Rusty started working at Cutters which later became Fresenius Medical Care until she retired. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, fishing with Glenn, camping, cooking and working in the Garden. She is survived by her children, Trudy Dagsen, Rebecca "Becky" Parslow, Debi Simmons and Greg Peabody; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn O'Brien; husband from a previous marriage, Robert Quarles and son, Frankie. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Old Mission Ward, 1433 E. Old Mission Road, Sandy, Utah.
