RYAN I. HEBDON

SUNSET - Ryan I. Hebdon, 26, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2003 at Ogden Regional Medical Center of injuries sustained in a snowmobile accident.

Ryan was born February 29, 1976, a leap year bicentennial baby, in Ogden, Utah to Randy I. and Sharon Duncan Hebdon. Ryan attended Sunset Jr. High and was a member of the first graduating class of Northridge High School and LDS Seminary. He was a member of the Sunset 1st and 7th Wards and earned his Eagle Scout Award in 1991. Ryan was currently working at American Distribution Inc. out of Salt Lake City as a long-haul truck driver. He had also been employed at Robert's Photography in Riverdale doing landscape and at Ally's Pizza in Sunset.

Ryan was truly one of a kind. His laid back sense of humor and acceptance of others drew people to him. Ryan knew how to work hard and play hard. He was an avid snowmobiler and spent many weekends up Monte Cristo with his older brother Sean. He enjoyed trips to Moab with Shelly and Rob to go four wheeling and buying his little RyLeigh slurpee's. Ryan's greatest love was fixing up and painting his 4X4 Toyota and taking 1st place at numerous car shows around Utah. Ryan had spent the last few years of his life spending quality time with his Mom over Wendy's salads. Ryan also loved to travel which came from growing up 'trucking' with his Dad. Ryan had traveled the last two summers with his sisters to New York and just last June had enjoyed a trip to New York with all his siblings where they visited Ground Zero, took a boat ride around Manhattan and jumped on the beds at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square.

Ryan is survived by his parents of Sunset, two sisters; Shelly (Robert) Stiffler, Eagle Mountain, UT; Andra (Ryan) Thorne, Clearfield, UT. One brother, Sean Hebdon, Clearfield, UT; a grandmother, Fontell Messervy, Layton; an aunt, Pat Patterson, Springville, UT.

Ryan had a soft place in his heart for his nieces and nephews; Wes, Braden,
Shaylee, Boyce, Ryleigh Kaye and Duncan. Ryan is also survived by many close friends, including his pets Tate, Kobie Jack and Jake and a very special companion Sarah Marsh and her son, Kelly.

Ryan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Don Messervy, William and Gwendolyn Duncan.

Happy Trucking Hoonie, We love you.
