Ryan Arthur Noorda Obituary (1974 - 2014)

Ryan A. Noorda HONEYVILLE - Ryan Arthur Noorda passed from this life, Friday, March 7, 2014 doing what he loved most, snowmobiling with members of his family. He was born September 16, 1974 in Bountiful, Utah. He married his eternal companion, and the love of his life, Christina Ann (Limb) Noorda, on May 3, 1996 in the Manti, LDS Temple. Ryan served an LDS mission in the Cleveland, Ohio Mission from September 1993-1995. He served actively in a variety of callings including many years in church sports and as Young Men's President and loved working with the youth in and outside of the church. He graduated from Box Elder High School in 1993. After receiving his bachelor's degree from Utah State University, Ryan worked as the head of mechanical and structural engineering at Hyper Comp Engineering in Brigham City for 18 years. Ryan loved his children, Kelsey Ann, Megan Rae and Connor Ryan and supported them in a myriad of activities, including sports, cheer and dance, and was so proud of their hard work and accomplishments. Ryan enjoyed camping with his family and spending time in the outdoors and being involved in competition, he especially loved snowmobiling and softball. He spent countless hours with his son (Murph) playing and coaching baseball and other sports. They enjoyed several trips together to professional baseball and football games, which they both cherished. Go Broncos! He is survived by his wife, Christina; children, Kelsey, Megan, and Connor; his parents Brent and Ilene; and his four brothers: Chad (Christina) Noorda, Kevin (Katie) Noorda, Darin (Alicia) Noorda, and Jared (Jennifer) Noorda. A special thanks to his brother Kevin and the Search and Rescue teams and emergency personnel from Summit and Uintah counties who responded so quickly to his aid. A viewing will be Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT, and on Friday from 9:30 to10:40 a.m. at the Church. Funeral services will be Friday, March 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brigham City, LDS West Stake Center, 895 N. 625 W. Interment will be in the Willard Cemetery.
