Sage Michelle Miles Obituary (2017 - 2017)

Sage Michelle Miles Our baby girl, Sage Michelle Miles came into this world on September 2, 2017. She is no longer with us but will always be in our hearts. She is now our special Angel in Heaven. She left behind her much anticipating big sisters Oakley (6) and MyLee Auna (3). They have said, "I love her a thousand moons and she is in Heaven like the stars and when I miss her I can look at the stars and know she is close". She also left behind a heart broken mommy and daddy, grandmas, poppas, aunts, uncles and cousins. We are grateful to know that families are forever. Her cousin Chloe precedes her in death. They will be forces for good together until we are all reunited. Sage's life was short but we are grateful for every moment she was with us. I feel honored to be her mom and was extremely thankful for the opportunity to hold and kiss her, telling her hello and goodbye in the same moment. We wish we had the chance to tell her a million, "I love you's" and see her grow throughout life. Sage taught us so much in her short life. We will be better parents and people because of her. She has taught us a greater since of gratitude in life's sweet little things. We are more grateful for everyday and will not take life for granted. Sage has taught us to be more compassionate and kind. She has taught us not to complain about little things. She has given us a profound since of strength and courage, in what seemed to me to be the impossible. Sage was a small little girl but made a profound impact on our life's. She will be forever loved and never forgotten. We love her more then anything in this world, our baby girl. At this time of our grieving we would like to express our appreciation to our friends and family for their love and support. We also are grateful for the nurses and doctors at McKay Dee hospital and Circle of Life and the volunteers at the SHARE Foundation. We received exceptional care in the eye of a storm.
