Sam Ray Reeves, loving husband, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away Saturday October 25, 2014. He was born March 23, 1952, in Ogden, Utah, a son of Max Allen and Ruth Venable Reeves. He was raised in Roy, Utah, and was part of the 1970 Graduating Class of Roy High School.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and honorably served a mission in the New England States.

He married Claudia Judkins on June 30, 2006, in Roy, Utah.

Sam worked for Hill AFB for over 26 years in Material Expediting.

He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, wood working; he liked to play any kind of sports; and loved family outings.

Sam is survived by his wife, Claudia, and his siblings, Ron Reeves, Ben Reeves (Edith), Laura Whitaker (Kyle), Carol King (Bob), Anita Fuger (Dale), Jolene Connell (Larry), and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Marvin; sister, Cheryl; and sister-in-law Joyce Reeves.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Claudia for Sam's headstone.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 31, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., in the Riverdale 2nd Ward, 5500 South 1175 West, Riverdale, Utah. A viewing for family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 30th, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah, and on Friday, from 9:40 - 10:40 a.m., prior to services at the church.

Interment in the Roy City Cemetery.
