(JIM) SANTIAGO PACHECO GONZALES BRIGHAM CITYa" (Jim) Santiago Pacheco Gonzales, 61, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away on March 2, 2002, after a long illness. He was born on July 24, 1940 in Del Rio, Texas, a son of Frank Gonzales Sr. and Elena Pacheco Gonzales. Jim married Julia Garcia in 1964, in California. They made their home in Corinne, Utah, where he was a farm worker. He was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church. Jim is survived by his mother of Bear River City and wife, Julia; children Martha (Louis) Davila, Kilgore, TX; Alfonso (Diana) Gonzales, Tremonton; Joel (Ranae) Gonzales, Brigham City; Jacob Gonzales, Corinne; Issias (Julie) Gonzales, Brigham City; Elena Gonzales, Brigham City and Frank Gonzales, Corinne; brothers Arcadio Gonzales, Brigham City; Joe Gonzales, Corinne and sisters Maria Achondo, Ogden; Juantia Mendoza, Tremonton and Ema Velasquez, Brigham City. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceeded in death by a brother, Frank Pacheco Gonzales and son Santiago Gonzales, Jr. and his father. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2002, at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Henry's Catholic Church, 380 South 200 East, Brigham City, UT, with Father Montoya officiating. A vigil service will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2002, at 6:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, UT, followed by a viewing until 8:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Corinne Cemetery.
