Savannah McConnaughy

It is with broken hearts filled with grief that we announce the loss of our sweet Savannah Elaine McConnaughy. Savannah was born on September 24, 1996, in Orem, Utah to Mark and Cathy McConnaughy where she joined her five older brothers and sisters. She was soon followed by her younger brother and sister, completing the family. Savannah was our sunshine goofball; she could talk to any stranger and turn them into a friend. Savannah loved animals of all kinds but especially horses. She never met an animal that she didn't instantly try and bring home as a pet. She could also never pass up any free furniture on the side of the road.
On October 20, 2019, Savannah gave birth to her daughter, Rory. Savannah took great joy in being a mother, as evidenced by her closet overflowing with princess dresses for Rory and very little clothing for Savannah. Savannah was always the bright spot in our day, and we will mourn her forever. She is survived by her daughter, Rory; her mother and father, Mark and Cathy; her four brothers, Brian, Collin, Skyler, and Archer; her three sisters, Jennifer (Jonathan), Jessica, and Kylee; her partner, Spencer; and eleven nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024, from 2:00-3:00 P.M. Funeral Services to follow at 3:30 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah.
