Schaedie Jaedin Bolan Obituary (1999 - 2001)

ODGEN - Schaedie Jaedin Bolan, 19 month old son of Jerry and Mandy Karsten Bolan, died on Sunday, May 27, 2001 at Primary Children's Hospital. He was born on October 22, 1999 in Ogden. Schaedie had a happy, friendly smile that spread a warm feeling of love to all who new him. He was a sensitive little boy with excellent manners. His favorite word was "tankum", which was his way of saying thank you. Schaedie loved life and his wonderful family. He especially enjoyed playing with his sister, Aschley, and chasing her around on the trampoline. Surviving are his mother and father, Mandy and Jerry Bolan and a sister, Aschley Marie Bolan, all of Ogden. Also surviving are his grandparents, Kayla and Les Allred, Robert and Shelly Bolan, all of Ogden, Pat Bolan, Washington Terrace; great grandparents, Leslie Cunningham, Ogden; Oda Bolan, Washington Terrace; Frank and Elaine Gailey, Clearfield; four uncles, Robert T. Bolan, Jonathan Bolan, Leslie Karsten (Michelle Hardman) and Joshua Karsten, all of Ogden; many caring great aunts, uncles and counsins; and his God Parents, Christina and Thomas Hunter. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Kris Karsten. In a world where blind guides lead the unsuspecting to oblivion, God promises to give both sight and insight to dads and moms who must guide their families. Mother always said that even the youngest child can reach up and grasp the loving hand of God.
