Sergeant B. Hutchinson Obituary (1921 - 2001)

OGDEN - Sergeant B. Hutchinson, 80, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2001 at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful after an extended illness. He was born June 20, 1921 in Bogalusa, Louisiana to Joseph B. and Eliza Selman Hutchinson. He married Selma Washington on July 18, 1954, they later divorced. He worked as a truck driver at HAFB Motor Pool for 37 years before retiring. He was an active and very supportive member of the Calvary Baptist Church, and a Veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army. Surviving are his children: Dorothy (Fredrick) Callis, Chandler, AZ; Cheryl Hutchinson, Arlington, TX; Deron Hutchinson, Salt Lake City, UT; Cassandra Hutchinson, Murray, UT; three grandchildren: Chrystopher (Vanessa) Hutchinson, Derrick Callis, Neisha Callis; two great-grandchildren: Felicia Rodriguez, Renae Hutchinson; and several step-brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Darrell Hutchinson. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Ellen Head for all her support.
