Shane Johnson

Shane Barnes Johnson, 58, passed away on December 7, 2022 with his family at his side. He was born on January 17,1964 in Ogden, Utah to Joe Betty Johnson and Bruce Leon Parker of Ogden, Utah. He earned his GED and proceeded to trade school for brick masonry. Later he taught brick masonry at the Ogden-Weber Technology College. His most prized work was his brickwork at the Ogden Raptors stadium.
Shane married in 1982 and had three children. Amber Joe Kirk (Zachary Dean Kirk), Autumn Stradling (Shane Tanner Stradling) and Brittney Don Duncombe (William Leslie Duncombe). They were divorced later in 1985. He later met Alisa Kay Lee and her daughter Ashley Dawn Lee in 1992 and they were together until his passing. They had three more children Hailee Johnson (Geoff Walker), Miranda Shay Johnson, and Kaiden Shane Johnson.
Shane enjoyed everything outdoors including camping, fishing, hiking, BBQs, and anything involving his family. He had a love for Ford trucks and doing his own work on automobiles, and motorcycles. His dogs were his pride and joy, Murphy and Thor. Shane will be laid to rest with them by his side.
He is survived by his seven children Amber Joe Kirk, Ashley Dawn Lee, Autumn Stradling, Brittney Don Duncombe, Hailee Johnson, Miranda Shay Johnson, and Kaiden Shane Johnson: 5 grandchildren, Devan Ashley Stradling, Ryker Jayden Kirk, Brynlee Joe Kirk, Kopi Shane Stradling, and Adalaide Nicole Kirk. He was preceded by his mother Joe Betty Johnson, biological father Bruce Leon Parker, and father Demar Johnson.
A viewing will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at Myers Ogden Mortuary at 845 S. Washington Blvd. Graveside services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm at Lindquist Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
