Shannon Meleah Quintana Our dear Shannon Meleah was taken suddenly from this world to home, August 4, 2016. She sustained unsurviveable injuries from a motorcycle accident. The light of her spirit will reside in the heart of everyone ever blessed to know her. She is survived by her parents, Mark Larson (Athena Rima), Mary Ann Larson (Robert Warren, Jr.); sister, Crystal Larson (Joseph Miller); daughters, Isabela and Sara Quintana; husband, Jason Quintana; grandmother, Joanne Musgrove; aunts, uncles, and cousins too numerous to name. Each of us will miss her dearly. She loved all. May she now have peace. She is free of pain. Fly with the angels, my love. A memorial service will be held Monday, August, 8 2016 at 3pm at Myers Layton Mortuary, 250 N Fairfield Rd. Friends and family may gather at the mortuary from 2-3pm. Shannon Meleah had a light from within that left an indelible imprint on everyone she ever touched. She was suddenly and tragically taken home to the heavens in a motorcycle accident. Her memory will live on as a loving mother, whose daughters meant everything to her. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, granddaughter, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. Her open hearted spirit passionately gave us all what we needed, when we needed it. She just knew in her heart what anyone needed and immediately set out a path to give it. She was adventuresome and talented in so many ways. She found joy in cooking for large gatherings, absorbed all of nature, loved to camp in the mountains, search for unusual antiques, and she was especially proud to be a published poet. She identified herself as an Air Force "brat" growing up in many places. Her favorite was Germany. The friends she gathered along her journey were very special to her. Her life path here on Earth was short; like she said it would be. We send her on her way with love and thanks for ever having been blessed to know her. Until we meet again sweet daughter.
