Sharie Allen Obituary (1954 - 2012)

Sharie Allen On Dec. 2, 2012 with her family at her side, our sweet sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Sharie Lee Allen, 58, passed away unexpectedly at McKay Dee. Sharie was born on Feb. 23, 1954 in Ogden to Phyllis and Dean Allen (both deceased). She lived in Huntsville as a child, where she attended Valley Elementary and Junior High. The family moved to Ogden and she graduated from Ben Lomond High. She was a member of the LDS Church and had taken out her temple endowments. She spent many years doing hair and was always willing to give a quick hair cut or style for "one of her ladies." She was always willing to do anything for everyone. Sharie enjoyed many things especially going on trips with her best friend, Wendy. She loved shopping, movies and lunch with her nieces, Christy and Tina, and hanging out with "her buddies", Colton and Braydon. She had 15 nieces and nephews whose activities she never missed, she was carrying on this tradition with her great-nieces and nephews. She loved Christmas; we will always cherish the memories of the annual Christmas cousins' party and Christmas Day. She is survived by her siblings, Tana Allen (Howard) Giles, Greg (Chris) Allen, Danny (Nadene) Allen, Dixie Allen (Daryl) Glance and Larry (Kim) Allen and dog, Minnie. Graveside services will be held at 1p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7th at the Huntsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. Ogden, UT 84404.
