Shauna Jean Kendrick Winder

Shauna Jean Kendrick Winder, 45, of North Ogden went home to her Heavenly Father on March 4, 2018. Shauna peacefully left her earthly body surrounded by her entire family. Shauna endured a lot in the past couple of years fighting an extended illness. In her final days, she had a brain aneurysm.

Shauna was born on October 27, 1972 in Mesa, Arizona to Bruce and Gloria Kendrick. Shauna is the younger sister of Brad and Greg, and the older sister to Julie and Kellie. Shauna grew up in North Ogden. She was a Green Acres Grizzly, a North Ogden Knight and a Weber Warrior. Shauna earned her Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Weber State University.

Shauna married Mark Winder on September 12, 1997. They were later sealed in Logan LDS Temple. She was the caring mother of Megan, Cody and Conner, whom she loved with all of her heart. Shauna's family will miss her dearly.

Shauna had a great love for her family and friends. She endured more than her fair share of trials in this life. Shauna was a fighter, right until the end. She was a grateful member of Narcotics Anonymous for the past six years, a great accomplishment she was proud of. Shauna was extremely loyal and giving. She always put needs of others in front of her own. Shauna worked at the YMCA Family Community center, a job that she was passionate about.

Shauna was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Harrisville Hidden Meadows Ward.

Shauna leaves behind her husband Mark, her daughter Megan, her two sons Cody and Conner, her parents, Bruce and Gloria Kendrick, her siblings Brad (Jeni), Greg (Jenn), Julie Hotchkiss (Casey) and Kellie Dalton (Brice) and twenty-four nieces and nephews as well as her father in-law Orden Winder of Idaho Falls, ID, Mark's siblings, Mike Winder (Ann), Scott Winder (Kim), and Tauna Fisher (Scott). She was preceded in death by her grandparents on both sides and her mother in-law Sandy Winder.

We invite all who loved her to come celebrate her beautiful life with us. Open house will be held Friday March 9, 2018 from 5:30-8:00 pm at Timbermine Restaurant, 1701 Park Blvd., Ogden, UT. Dinner will be provided, casual attire.

We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the ICU at Ogden Regional for taking such good care of Shauna and our family this week.
