Shaylyne Marie Pearce Obituary (1982 - 2012)

Shaylyne Marie Pearce Our beloved Daughter, Sister, and Friend passed away Tuesday, Feb 7, 2012 in Layton, Utah and was reunited with her grandmother Glenda Guinn. Shaylyne was born December 15, 1982 in Ogden, Utah. She grew up in Roy and graduated from Fremont High School in 2001. Shaylyne was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Shaylyne was a compassionate and kind woman. She loved and cherished her family, and enjoyed spending time with them. She enjoyed long telephone calls with her sisters and friends when she couldn't be there in person. She also enjoyed pampering her dog Kaisa Lynn. She is survived by her mother Jacqueline Guinn and her father Rodney L. Pearce; her sisters Kimberly Keen (Jonathan), Kirsten Crossen (Kenneth) and Taylor Pearce. She left behind several grandparents, cousins, uncles and aunts including her wonderful aunt Jimmie Lee who meant so much to her. She is also survived by her boyfriend Josh Watts, her niece Ava Keen and longtime best friend Dixi Hancock. Shaylyne will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Midland 2nd Ward, 3776 West 5375 South Roy, Utah. A viewing will be held on Sunday February 12, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West Roy, Utah, and on Monday from 10 to 10:45 a.m., prior to services, at the church. Interment in the Roy City Cemetery. Special thanks for all the love and support of the Norton family.
