Sheree Stites Zamora Obituary (1961 - 2011)

Sheree Stites Zamora "I will miss you my dear ladybug" ROY - Our Sweet Sheree, the heart and soul of our family, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2011. She was born on December 12, 1961, in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Wesley Clayton and Jeanne Simpson Stites. She lived in Roy most of her life, and attended Roy High School. She married her high school sweetheart, Javier T. Zamora, and they spent 32 wonderful years together. She worked at Roy High School for 18 years as a Teacher's aide in the Special Education Department. She was extremely dedicated to her students who held a special place in her heart. Sheree enjoyed crafting, sewing, sports, animals (especially her dog "Miss Piggy Puggers"), playing with her grandkids, camping and fishing with her husband. She is survived by her husband, parents, grandfather, Wayne G. Simpson, four children; Javier J. (Kristin) Zamora, Zachary (Karla)Zamora, Ricco C. (Raquelle) Zamora, and Chelsie R. Zamora, Five grandchildren; Ava, Taygen, Taylee, Makya, and Gracie, all of Roy and Miss Piggy Puggers. She is also survived by her brother; Darin Stites (Timothy Budd), and sisters; Nicole R. Stites and Michele Opheikens. Sheree was preceded in death by her grandson, Zy Zamora, and her grandparents; Ruth Simpson, and George and Oral Stites. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., at Myers Roy Mortuary 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah. Friends and family may call on Monday, May 9, 2011, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., and on Tuesday from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m., prior to services. Interment in the Roy City Cemetery.
