Sheron Lee Finley Obituary (1943 - 2005)

SHERON LEE CALL FINLEY ROY -- Sheron Finley was called home to her Heavenly Father after a long struggle with diabetes. She was living with her son in Washington Terrace. Sheron was 62 years old and born June 30, 1943, in Los Angeles, California. Her parents saw that she was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served faithfully all her life. She was married to Holger Duane Finley, January 29, 1965 in the Los Angeles Temple. In her later years she moved to Roy, Utah to be near her sister, Dorcus Call Reid. While working at the American River College Institute of Religion she became a second "mom" to many students and loved her own children with the same sweet caring spirit. Sheron was always willing to listen and give love to others and did so despite personal adversity. She is survived by her sister Dorcus Call Reid, her brother, Gary V. Call, and her five children, David (Crystal), Paul (Wendy), Michael (Christie), Steven (Wendy) Finley and Jennifer (Dan) Madsen. She was preceded in death by her father, Varial Call, her mother, Imogene Wood, and her eldest daughter Valinda Susanne Finley.
