Sherrie Adams Labrum

Libertyville, IL - Our sweet mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, Sherrie Adams Labrum, passed away on January 30, 2013. She was born in Ogden, UT on April 22, 1956 to Duane G. Adams and Betty Mae Knowlden. Sherrie graduated from Ben Lomond High School and Utah State University. She married Ronald K Labrum in the Logan LDS Temple and together they raised five children.

Sherrie was a devoted mother and loving wife, who more than anything loved spending time with her family.

Sherrie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and exemplified Christ's teaching to love everyone. She was a true friend to all that knew her. Sherrie's light was a beacon. She made everyplace she stood better. Her legacy will be a template we will use to learn, grow and teach.

She is survived by her husband, Ron; children, Brandon (Wendy) Labrum, Brittney (Joe) Christensen, Tyler (Carol) Labrum, Todd ( Jessica) Labrum and Zach Labrum; nine grandchildren; mother, Betty; brothers, Duane (Jan) Adams and Brian (Jodee) Adams; and sister, Sharlene (Kirt) Mockli. She was preceded in death by her father, Duane Adams.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 10 to 11:40 a.m. at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park. Funeral services were held in Libertyville, Illinois.
