Shirlee Wayman Obituary (1929 - 2011)

ShirLee Wayman Ogden - On October 22, 2011, ShirLee Wayman, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend passed away leaving this world to once again be with her parents. She was born on February 13, 1929 to Archie and Lizzie Douglas. Growing up in Ogden, she attended Ogden schools and worked in her family's diners until she married her sweetheart Murl D. Wayman on April 12, 1948. Together they raised five children and enjoyed watching and spending time with their ever growing family. She was always happy to see her family and friends and welcomed everyone into her home with a smile and snack. She is survived by her loving husband, Murl; sister, Deanie (Stan) Jencks of Salt Lake City; five children, Dan (Rose) Wayman of Ogden, Paul (Kathy) Wayman of Galt, CA, Debe "Sis" (Randy) Burnell of Salem, UT, Tammy (Gary) Balliett of Hooper, Terry (Jill) Wayman of Ogden; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Hector and Glen; and sister, Ruth. Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 11a.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery.
