SHIRLEY NISH LEE

ROY - Shirley Nish Lee, 76, passed away Friday, January 16, 2004 of causes incident to age.

She was born September 14, 1927 in Garland, Utah, the daughter of Robert H and Cassie Dean Hyde Nish.

She married Rulon Lee on October 16, 1951 in the Logan Temple. Rulon passed away June 12, 2001.

Shirley was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served as Ward librarian for 19 years, Relief Society presidencies, Primary, Scouting and a faithful visiting teacher.

She is survived by her children: Gary (Arlea) Lee, Clearfield; Carolyn (David) Stout, Rogers, AR; Janice (Rick) Oborn, Ogden; Cory (Barbara) Lee, Farr West; Bonnie (E.J.) Dobbins, Anchorage, AK; 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Gwenith (Neal) Jorgensen, Mesa, AZ; Darrell (LaDean) Nish, Bountiful; Lynn J (Denese) Nish, Millville; Ellen (Paul) Capener, Redding, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

If I were asked to give a thought
Which in one word would speak
Unity or brotherhood, a sympathy complete
A hundred happy cherry ways,
A mind that knows its own.
Contented midst a throng of folk,
Yet peaceful when alone.
A heart that sheds it's silent glow
To brighten many another,
Without a moment of delay, I'd say
"You mean my Mother."
