SHIRLEY M. SCHLOSSNAGLE

ROY - Shirley M. Schlossnagle passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2006 at Heritage Park Care Center in Roy.

She was born January 20, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Michael J. and Matilda Frye Birk.

She married Russell Ray Schlossnagle on December 8, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois. He preceded her in death January 11, 1997.

Shirley worked as a secretary for various firms in Illinois and for the counseling department at Weber State University in Ogden. She enjoyed reading, traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, daughter Carol (Mike) Munford of Roy; a son Karl (Kellen) Schlossnagle of Layton; four grandchildren Elisha Munford (Scott) Kekacs, Melissa Munford (Douglas) Van Tassell and Russell and Mollee Schlossnagle, three great-grandchildren Aidan Kekacs, Kaia and Dameon Van Tassell.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 2740 Pennsylvania Avenue, Ogden. Family and friends may call on Wednesday at Myers Mortuary in Roy, 5865 South 1900 West from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services.
Interment, Roy City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to Heritage Park Care Center.
