SHIRLEY LYNNE MORGAN VALDOVINOS
CLINTON - I, Shirley Lynne Morgan Valdovinos came into this world backwards. I was born to Samuel T. Morgan and LaDean Ellen Adams on December 30, 1948, while my dad was serving in the military in Shanghai, China. I passed away August 28, 2009, at McKay-Dee Hospital.
I was educated in Davis County Schools and graduated from Davis High in 1967. I lived in many places over the years. My hobbies are crocheting, knitting and crafts. I enjoyed being with my family especially my grandchildren; Destiny (15), Morgan (13), Cameron (11), Emma (5) and Jenna (18 months). I have two children, Christine (Daniel) Jensen, Clinton, and Tony Valdovinos of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
I was married to Rodney Gene Valdovinos, on February 2, 1972, in Elko, Nevada; we were later divorced. I have one brother, Shawn Morgan, Kalispell, Montana, four sisters; Marie (John, deceased) Dunyon, Roy, Leisa (Garry) Hall, Clearfield, Michelle Morgan, Kalispell, Montana, and Angie Morgan, Portland, Oregon, and many loved nieces and nephews.
Several family members have preceded me in death, including my parents. I would like to thank the Clinton 4th Ward for all their love and support they have shown. Also, the emergency personnel who took me to the hospital.
I request no flowers, instead donations may be made to Myers Mortuary Roy to help off set funeral expenses. Memorial services will be held Friday, September 4, 2009, at 1:00 p.m., at the Clinton East Ward Building, 2223 North 1000 West, Clinton, Utah. My gathering will be held on Friday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. prior to services at the church.
Interment in the Clinton City Cemetery.
