Shirley Yvonne Peterson Obituary (1930 - 2017)

Shirley Yvonne Peterson, 87, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2017 at Maple Springs Assisted Living. She was born June 7, 1930 to Golden Peterson and Geneva Lucille Iverson in Snowville, Utah. Yvonne graduated from Bear River High School. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Yvonne held many positions including, teacher, secretary, librarian, stake missionary and worked in the family history library. Yvonne worked at the coat factory in Brigham City and retired from Hillam Agency. She loved doing family history, crocheting, and scrapbooking. Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Golden Jr., Luella Mae and an infant sister. Graveside services will be Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bear River Cemetery 4600 West 5600 North, Bear River. A private viewing will be held for close family and friends on Saturday from 10 to 10:30 a.m. at Myers Mortuary 205 S. 100 E. Brigham City. Interment will be in the Bear River Cemetery.
