Slate Rudd Scoffield Obituary (2023 - 2023)

Slate Rudd Scoffield, son of Kaden Scoffield and Rilee Ableman, was born into this world on August 29, 2023, bringing with him undeniable amounts of love. In the short time Slate was on this earth, he blessed many lives with his love. On September 3, 2023, he returned home to Our Father in Heaven, passing peacefully in the arms of his parents. Though our time with him will never be long enough, we are at peace knowing he was too perfect for this earth and that we will be united with him again in heaven. Slate is a cherished Son, Grandson, Nephew, and cousin of many. He is survived by his parents Kaden Scoffield and Rilee Ableman; grandparents Josh and Sherry Ableman, Hollie and Tyler Scoffield; great-grandparents Abe and Vickie Ableman, Lori and Nick Cota, Rudd and Dionne Scoffield, Rick and Barbra Adams; great-great- grandmothers, Inez Cota, Annie Corwin, Judy Valdez; aunts and uncles, Kelsey (Josh) Ostrup, Kenzlee Scoffield, and Kyela Scoffield. Gracee Ableman, Averee Ableman, Chance Ableman, Wyatt Ableman; along with many loved great aunts, uncles, and cousins. A graveside service will be held on September 7th, 2023, at Plain City Cemetery, 4373 W 1975 N, Plain City, UT 84404 At 10:30 am. Services entrusted to Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah.
