Stanley Robert Unck Obituary (1923 - 2010)

Stanley Robert Unck ROY - Stanley Robert Unck, 86, passed away peacefully at his home Monday, June 21, 2010. He was born October 13, 1923 in Ogden, Utah to Wander (Walter) and Jannitje (Jenny) Sofvia Schouten Unck. He married Barbara Lee McMillan on October 5, 1946 in Elko, Nevada. He was a veteran serving in the Army during WWII. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Stanley enjoyed oil painting and woodworking. Survived by his wife, Barbara of Roy; children: Tamra Pribbanow of Roy; Bruce Stanley (Debra) Unck of Gainsville, Georgia; Kevin Andrew (Pam) Unck of Plymouth, Utah; Ryan Burton (Tina) Unck of Gainsville, Georgia; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Also surviving his sister, Joyce Unck (Marion B.) Cox of Bountiful. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, three brothers, son's, Larry M. and K.C. Edward Unck. Graveside services will be held Friday, June 25, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd., Ogden, where Military Honors will be accorded. Friends may call on Friday at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services. The family would like to thank the George E.
