Stephanie Jorgensen Courtney, a beloved daughter, sister, and mother, surrounded by her family has passed away from cancer, leaving a lasting mark on the hearts of those who knew her. Born on September 14, 1975, Stephanie brought boundless love, kindness, and compassion into the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Stephanie is survived by her loving son, Nick Clark, her devoted mother, Kathy Jorgensen, her sisters, Julie Simpson and Marie (Eric) Schenk, and her brothers, Brad (Camille) Jorgensen and Marc (Becky) Jorgensen. Stephanie's passing is mourned deeply, as she is reunited with her dear daughter, Mercedes LaRie Sommers, her father, Craig Thomas Jorgensen, and her sister, Ashley Kaye Jorgensen, in the eternal embrace of peace.
Throughout her life, Stephanie touched the lives of many with her unwavering love, gentle spirit, and unbreakable strength. Her enduring legacy of love and compassion will be forever cherished by those fortunate enough to have known her. Stephanie was an avid reader and her amazing knowledge came from this love of books.
As we bid farewell to Stephanie, may we find comfort in the memories that she has given us, in the love that she has shared, and in the profound impact that she has left upon our hearts. Graveside services will be held Friday, February 9, 2024, 1:00 p.m. at the Roy City Cemetery. 5200 S 2300 W, Roy, UT 84067.
