Steven Harry Wallace Obituary (1963 - 2011)

Steven Harry Wallace 3/6/1963 - 6/23/2011 CLINTON - Steven Harry Wallace, passed away peacefully after many years of chronic illness. Son of Leland Harry and Vera Runstedt Wallace, Steve grew up in Clinton and graduated from Clearfield High in 1981. December 24, 1989, Steve married Shelly Hight. Daughter, Summer Dawn Wallace, arrived soon after. After the marriage ended, Steve married Laurie Huntington, May 2, 1992. The couple enjoyed 19 years of family life with daughter, Summer, raising pets, and spending time with extended family. An avid car enthusiast, Steve enjoyed attending car shows, building models, collecting and customizing die cast cars. Photography, bike riding, movies, and yard work were favorite activities of his. Most of all, Steve is remembered as an innately kind, gentle, peacemaking man who quietly lived life on his own terms. Steve is survived by his wife, Laurie; daughter, Summer; sisters, Marilyn Peek, Sharlene, and brother, Wayne. He was preceded in death by his parents Leland and Vera, as well as his favorite cat Katie. Private services will be held Monday, June 27, 2011. Services under the direction of Myers Roy Mortuary.
