Sue Christianson

Sue Louise Christianson, 89, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at George E. Wahlen Veterans Home in Ogden, Utah. She was born, October 12, 1935 in Wausau, Wisconsin to C. Dean and Florence A. Christianson. After graduating from high school, she joined the United States Army in 1954 to 1956 where she served as a medic. She was stationed in Okinawa, Japan during her service and enjoyed the culture of a foreign country. She spent many years in southern New Mexico before moving to Utah to be close to family.
Sue retired from employment at the phone company where she worked with phone repair teams to set up phone service in homes and businesses testing the phone lines. In her spare time, she loved to play the piano.
Sue is survived by her brothers: Scott (Nanci Vaughn) Christianson and Richard Dean Christianson. She is also survived by one nephew, Duane Christianson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dean and Florence.
It was Sue’s request to be cremated and then have her ashes scattered in southern New Mexico amongst the beautiful landscapes she enjoyed.
