Susie Guidetti King Obituary (1920 - 2007)

Susie Guidetti King ROY - Loving mother and grandmother Susie Guidetti King, 86, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2007. She was born May 1, 1920 in Long Branch, New Jersey, the daughter of Alfonzo and Giovanna Ventresca Guidetti. She married Lyle Henry King on April 28, 1945 in Dillon, South Carolina. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden Temple April 28, 1983. Lyle passed away January 4, 1994. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Susie served in the Relief Society, and was a Visiting Teacher and Sunday School Teacher. Susie was a seamstress and loved ceramics, gardening, camping, the ocean and enjoyed spending time with her family. She worked at Sperry Rand Corporation. She is survived by her children: Lyle J. (Glenda) King of Ogden; Robert H. King of San Francisco; Ronald B. (Marsha) King, Susan (Dennis) Parker all of Roy; Janice (Jed) Nelson of Clinton; 25 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, brothers, sisters, grandson and great-grandson. The family would like to thank everyone at Hospice of Utah, Crestwood Care Center and Peach Tree Place for their care of Susie. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February, 3, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Myers Mortuary in Roy, 5865 South 1900 West. Family and friends may call on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Aultorest Memorial Park.
