Sulema M Escobedo Obituary (1936 - 2010)

Sulema M. Escobedo Ogden - Our beloved Mother and Grandmother passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2010. Sulema was born on November 15, 1936, to Jose Felix Morado & Concepcion Rosales, in Mercedes, Texas. She married Isidoro Escobedo in 1951. They later divorced. She had many friends and was known by the community as the "Tamale Lady" but she was so much more! She was a faithful worshiper of her God Jehovah. With a true Christian heart she would always extend hospitality, generosity and kindness to everyone whom she came in contact with. She was the epitome of love to her children and family and will be greatly missed. We look forward to the day we will see her again. Revelation 21:3, 4. She is survived by 5 sisters; 8 brothers; 1 daughter Esther (Fred) Martinez; 7 sons, Ramiro Escobedo, Arnold (Sylvia) Escobedo, Miguel (Virginia) Escobedo, Esteban (Tina) Escobedo, Mark (Caroline) Escobedo, Eddie Escobedo, Cris (Gloria) Escobedo, Juan (Claudia) Hernandez; 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1950 W. 4400 So., Roy, UT with a dinner reception immediately following.
