T Scott Kelstrom Obituary (1959 - 2017)

T. Scott Kelstrom, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, peacefully, yet unexpectedly, passed away on April 13, 2017, at the age 58, after a courageous battle with cancer, of which he never lost hope. Scott was born on April 5, 1959 in Ogden, Utah, to his loving parents, Robert and Bonnie Morse Kelstrom. He graduated from Roy High School in 1977. Scott started a career in Information Technology, yet his real passion was in retail sales, most recently employed by Brooks Brothers. His interests were gardening and traveling, especially to Las Vegas and cherishes the memories of a recent trip to Maui with his family. He was an avid San Diego Chargers fan, yet nothing brought him greater joy than spending time with loved ones. Scott exemplified compassion, kindness, caring, generosity and unconditional love for all. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is survived by his parents; brothers, Sherman (Diane), Syracuse; Curtis, Cody, Wyoming; a sister, Tamara (Charles) Roberts, Syracuse and many special nieces and nephews. Scott is also survived by Alan Astin, his devoted partner who lovingly supported him through his trials. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM, at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah. Friends may visit with family Monday, April 17, 2017, 6-8 PM and prior to services from 9:45 -10:45 AM. Interment will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, Ogden, Utah.
