Tami Renne' Martin Montgomery Obituary (1950 - 2006)

BRIGHAM CITY - Tami Renee' Martin Montgomery, 55, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2006 in Brigham City of complications due to cancer. Tami was born in Marysville, CA on November 14, 1950, a daughter of Robert Myron and Carol Emma Dewsnup Martin. She married John Lane Montgomery on September 28, 1978 in Oakland, CA. Tami was a member of the Brigham City 18th Ward. She had served in the Young Women's program, Relief Society, Family Extraction, and most recently in the Primary Nursery. She sincerely loved serving with the youth and children of the ward. Surviving are her husband, Lane Montgomery, Brigham City, UT; brothers and sister, Robert George (Lois) Martin, Rancho Cordova, CA; Marianna Carol (James) Burns, Belfast, Ireland; Marty Dewsnup Martin, Oroville, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brigham City 18th Ward Chapel, 895 N. 625 W., Brigham City. Friends may call on Friday, February 24, 2006 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City and on Saturday from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Gridley-Biggs Cemetery in Gridley, CA. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
