Tawnee Jex

Tawnee Dale Poulson Jex passed away peacefully at her home in Ogden, Utah on September 24, 2026. She was born on March 2, 1979 in Ogden, Utah and raised in a loving household by her parents Vernal and Lynette Poulson in Eden, Utah.

She was married to her husband Nicholas Jex in the shade of her childhood home in May of 2005.

She is survived by: her loving husband, Nick; her children: beautiful and talented Layla, kind and funny Leonard, and loving Hunter; as well as her siblings: Lisa (Mike) Helms, Amy (Steve) Malan, Travis (Chris) Poulson, and Dusty (Kim) Poulson; and many others that loved her.

She goes to join her unwaveringly selfless and loving parents and grandparents.
Tawnee was quick to show grace and love to friends and family, mixed with a dose of sarcasm, and followed up with a quick witted joke to keep you on your toes. She, like her mother, was a lover of animals, adventures, and especially anything Halloween.
The family would like to thank the many hospital workers, family members, and friends for the care they gave to Tawnee. We would especially like to thank Kathy and Don Jex, Intermountain Hospice, and Myers Mortuary for taking loving care of her throughout and including her final moments.

Visitation services will be held at Myers Mortuary (845 Washington Blvd. Ogden, Utah 84404) on Friday, October 2, 2026 from 6pm-8pm and she will be interred alongside her parents in the Ogden cemetery.
