BRIGHAM CITY- Ted Wight Burt, 89, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2010 at Country Lane Assisted Living.
Ted was born on May 10, 1920 a son of Reginald Nelson and Mary Amelia Wight Burt.
He grew up in Corinne and attended Corinne Elementary and graduated from Box Elder High School.
Ted married Marjorie Graser on May 16, 1941 in the Logan LDS Temple. She passed away on March 17, 1994. He later married Vaudys LaRae Hansen in Brigham City. She passed away on August 23, 2005.
He was a dairy farmer for most of his life.
Surviving are his children: Ronald Dee (Lynn) Burt, Brigham City, UT; Patty (Terry) Rosvall, Richmond, VA; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, also brothers: Richard Wight (Evelyn) Burt, Clinton Wight (Vita) Burt, Bear River City, UT.
Preceded in death by his parents, his wives, Marjorie and Vaudys, daughter, Jan Pease, sisters: Ruth Burt Miner, Barbara Burt Hawkes, brothers: Albert Wight Burt, Harold Wight Burt.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary Chapel, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City.
Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. at the Mortuary.
Interment will be in the Corinne Cemetery.
