Janet Thomas Obituary (1943 - 2012)

Janet Thomas BRIGHAM CITY- Janet Thomas passed away October 20, 2012 at her home. She was born May 22, 1943 in San Francisco, CA, the daughter of Earl Joseph Packer and Laura Thelma Olsen. She later moved to Utah with her family. Janet married Douglas Thomas on October 30, 1985 in Elko, NV. She worked at 7-11 for many years, and also at Sinclair. Janet loved interacting with customers she helped every day. She also enjoyed spending time with family and playing with her grandkids. Survived by her husband and children: Mike Bishop, Ogden; Allen Bishop, Brigham; and Jennifer & Brian Windley, Brigham, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by both of her parents, her brother, Jerry Packer, her sister, Lois Nager, and her daughter, Michelle Westfall. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT. A viewing will be Wednesday, October 24 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. at the mortuary.
