SALT LAKE CITY - Thelma June Ward, age 79, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at McKay-Dee Hospital.

She was born June 22, 1926 in Kingston, West Virginia to James Virgil Leach and Violet Marie Graham Leach. She married Billie David Ward in Lordsburg, NM; he preceded her in death in 1983.

She was an active member of the LDS Church.

Surviving are her children, John Ward and Stephanie Yancey, both of Spokane, WA; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 30, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ensign Stake Center, 2nd Street and A Avenue, 135 A Street, Salt Lake City. Friends may call at the Stake Center on Friday from 9 to 10:45 a.m.

Additional service and burial will take place in Spokane, WA.
