T.G. ''Country'' Sandau Obituary (1923 - 2002)

OGDEN - T.G. "Country" Sandau, 78, passed away Monday, January 07, 2002 at Heritage Park in Roy. He was born March 27, 1923 in San Antonio, Texas to Frank Henry and Erna Ida Krause Sandau. He married Sidney Ann Wales on July 29, 1949 in San Antonio. He was a Veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church; attended Alamo Heights High School in San Antonio; was interested in aircraft of all kinds and held a pilot's license. He was supportive of his wife's flying activities with the 99s. Surviving are his wife, Sidney Sandau, Ogden; one daughter, Susan (Rod) Miller, Sandy; two grandchildren, Kate (John) Wilkinson and Lisa Miller; a sister-in-law, Barbara Lyon; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Frances. The family wishes to thank the staff, nurses, and CNA's at Heritage Park Care Center for all their loving care of Country in his last year. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to Youth Impact, at the Browning Jubilee Center, c/o Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd.
