Thomas Beal Reid (Tony Beal) OGDENa"Thomas Beal Reid (Tony Beal), 79, passed away peacefully February 2, 2003 at McKay-Dee Hospital. She was born to Kate Brooks (Mother Beal) and Thomas James Beal, July 9, 1923 in Forrest, Mississippi. She moved to Utah in 1942, married James Reid but later divorced. Thomas retired from Hill Air Force Base after 32 years of service. Thomas was known for her zest for life and her willingness to always help those in need. Her life was a true example of Christianity. She was a devout member of New Zion Baptist Church where she served as an usher for several years. She volunteered much of her time to the community. She was recognized for her participation in IHC's Hospice program where she was awarded for more than 280 hours of service. Thomas was preceded in death by her sister, Minnie V. Hunter and her parents. She will be deeply missed, especially by her family, Thomas M. Hunter, Mark J. Hunter (wife, Regina and son, Mark Jr.), Thomas J. Hunter, Richard L. Hunter (wife, Rachel), Christina Hunter and her many grandchildren.
