Todd E. Lund

Todd Evan Lund, our loving father, husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend, returned to his Heavenly Father at the age of 49 on Saturday, October 24, 2015.
After a wonderful week at the family cabin, hunting with two of his children, Todd was involved in a tragic car accident that took his life. He was born April 5, 1966, to Dennis R. and Louise Evans Lund. Growing up he spent a lot of time snowmobiling, hunting and fishing with his dad and two brothers. He graduated from Box Elder High School and LDS Seminary in 1984. He was an Eagle Scout. Todd served an LDS mission in the Connecticut Hartford Mission. He then attended Utah State University, where he received his degree in Business and met the love of his life, Lori Kae Parrish. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on September 27, 1991, Todd lived in Perry, Utah with his wife and children: Sister Stephanie Jade Lund (currently serving a mission in Atlanta, Georgia), Justin Todd Lund (recently returned from serving a mission in Mexico City South mission), Shawntae Marie Lund, Shaylynne Nicole Lund, and Brayden Jacob Lund.
Todd was raised in Brigham City, Utah, He had a passion for helping people and a very keen problem-solving ability. He taught others with incredible patience and respect. Todd was an honorable, dependable man. He loved serving in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in any calling, though teaching was his favorite. He was constantly studying and preparing. His love for God and his family permeated his entire life. He set a profound example for his children and always encouraged them to "shoot for the stars", reminding them they could do anything they set their minds to do. Todd's life was filled with hard work, dedication, and service. He paved a path of love and discipleship for his family to follow in their journey of life. He was outgoing, patient, and great with people. Todd was very persuasive, and passionate about whatever he was working on at the time. Todd had a gift for making others laugh and he was also a groovy dancer (or so he thought). His laugh was incredibly contagious and he delighted in teasing. Some of Todd's hidden talents were that he could compose angelic music on the piano and he could fix anything in the house.
Todd Guided in Alaska for two years and dreamed of going back for the Grand Slam. Todd was an entrepreneur and business coach. His greatest entrepreneurial achievements include: a "New York Burrito" franchise, a cell phone store, "New Tech Wireless", an ink and toner vending business named "Inktons". He was also certified: in Human Resources Management, Color Code and business coaching, He loved working at Harris Research and the professionals he worked with.
Todd is beloved and will be greatly missed. His family finds comfort in knowing he lived righteously and is now watching over them in a place of never-ending happiness.
Todd passed his earthly test and was welcomed into Heaven by his grandparents: Lee Bert Evans, Florence Margaret Roundy, Vernal H. Lund, Glady's Lund.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Lori Kae Parrish Lund, his five children: Stephanie, Justin, Shawntae, Shaylynne, Brayden; His Parents; Dennis R Lund, Louise Mae Lund; two brothers; Clayton (Janet) Lund, Bradley D.
